I use certainteed vinyl siding products.I recommend the monogram line for clapboard style siding and the cedar impressions product for a wood shingle look. Your window and door casings can be clad with custom bent aluminum coil stock and your fascia and rake trim can be wrapped as well. There are many nice trim accents available today and many underlayment options that can add to the R-value of your walls. Vinyl siding has come a long way in recent years and is no longer just a low end product. With complete trim coverage vinyl is the first choice for a low maintenance exterior.

I offer hardiplank cement fiber siding. This product offers the look of a painted wood clapboardwith less maintenance. I use a story pole installation method with this product to achieve optimum clapboard coursing with regard to window and door casings. In most applications hardiplank is blind nailed so no fasteners are visible. Hardiplank paints very easily and paint seems to last longer on cement fiber than it does on wood.

Nothing can match the beauty of real wood siding. It is almost a must for upper end homes and a good choice for any property. Wood sidings do require more care and maintenance to keep looking nice. I recommend red cedar for clapboards and red or white cedar for shakes and shingles. I use a story pole installation method on shakes, shingles and clapboards to achieve optimum placement of siding courses with relation to window and door trims. On clapboard siding I use a 30 degree bevel on the butt joints for appearance and added weather tightness. I also offer board and batten vertical siding and live edge board siding for applications that require a rugged look. Cedar clapboards can be natural or preprimed and cedar shingles are available predipped in stain or bleaching oil.

I offer some simple garage packedges or can custum build a garage to your specs. Garages can be built on floating slabs or frost walls. I recommend building on frost walls but understand that some peoples needs and budgets are met by floating slabs. I can dress up your new garage or existing garage with a custom built cupola. I build decks with pressure treated framing structures and offer pressure treated, red cedar and composite deck and railing systems. Wooden decks do require maintenance to stay looking nice, the composite products usually only require cleaning, but are generally more expensive.

I offer Harvey vinyl replacement windows, harvey wood replacement windows and Anderson new construction windows. The windows in your home can be replaced with either window type. A replacement window fits within the existing window frame. The installation involves removing the old window sashes and fitting the new replacement unit into the old wood frame. Your exterior and interior trim remain. It usually takes less than 1 hour to install a replacement window. The replacement windows are energy star rated, east to operate and tip in for easy cleaning. They are an economical choice that greatly improves ones home.

The windows in your home can also be replaced with anderson new construction units. This application involves removing the entire old window, the sashes, the frame, the interior and exterior trim. The new window then installs in the old rough opening. At times the old rough opening may need to be changed. New trim is then installed and often patching of the siding is needed. This application is more labor intensive and costly but offers the benefit of having everything new in regard to the window. It also provides the opportunity to change your interior or exterior trim to a different style to refresh the look of your home. These windows are also energy star rated and tip in for easy cleaning.
